After the closure of abstract submission for WPC2020 on 5 January, 2020, a total of 1412 abstracts has been evaluated by the Scientific Committee.

We are grateful to all the reviewers.

The authors will receive the  results of this evaluation by mail before the end of April 2020. The results will also be available on their personal account on the . You can log in to your account using the email and password that you used for the initial submission in 2019.

As a result of the evaluation, an abstract can be either rejected, acceptable under conditions or accepted.

The submission site will reopen from 30 April 2020 until 31 August 2020, for modifications of submitted abstracts, as follows:

  • the authors of abstracts evaluated as ‘acceptable under conditions’ must submit an updated version to have their abstract accepted.
  • the authors of accepted abstracts are encouraged to use this possibility to update their abstract in case they had new results. They can also withdraw their abstract if they prefer to submit a totally new one.

A new phase of abstract submission will open from  1 september 2020 until 31 december 2020

Authors of rejected abstracts can use this possibility to submit a new abstract. New authors are welcome.
