YOUTH PROGRAM

The WPC 2020 is offering grants up to 50 postgraduate students. The students will be awarded with full registration to WPC 2020, accommodation and four-day post-conference journey (Thursday 20th to Sunday 23th of August), visiting poultry facilities in France, as well as cultural sites. Special events will be organized for them during the congress (author workshop, BPS cocktail).

Successful applicants will receive the notification of acceptance electronically by WPC Secretariat. 

Note: Flight tickets are not included.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

  • Applicants must be a postgraduate studying in university (Master or PhD student).  Maximum age of the applicant should be 35 at the time of application.
  • Applicants must have been a member of WPSA for at least 6 months at the time of application.
  • Applications must be submitted within the required period (September 1st, 2019 until December  31, 2019).
  • Applicants must submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation and be the first author. If a scientific paper or poster is the basis for the application, this need not have been accepted at the time of application but it will eventually have to be accepted before funds are disbursed.
  • All documents should be submitted by e-mail in PDF or Word files. Incomplete or late submissions will NOT be considered.   

Application form must be accompanied by:

  • A copy of the abstract, which has to be submitted by online abstract submission system. 
  • Letter of recommendation from one well-known members of your WPSA Branch stating why you are a possible candidate to receive a Youth Program grant.
  • Short Curriculum Vitae and Photo (2-3 A4 size page)
  • Copy of student card (or any other document that shows student status, in English)
  • Copy of passport
